Where your server runs: Chișinău and Bucharest data centers
Every dedicated server is physical hardware we own, installed in the IPHOST data center in Chișinău, certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (Quay Audit UK, certificate 4160103), or in our Bucharest site. Power comes from two 249 kW generators that start in 12 seconds and modular Legrand UPS systems; hot-aisle containment keeps the racks at 20–24 °C, and the rooms are protected by inert-gas fire suppression.
The network has 80 Gbps of total capacity through three transit carriers (RETN, Cogent, InterLink) and four internet exchange points, with DDoS protection up to 2 Tbps. Chișinău and Bucharest are linked by two 10 Gbps MPLS circuits over 300 km of our own fibre. Additional locations in Ashburn, London and Amsterdam are planned and not yet available for ordering.
Managed or unmanaged: which dedicated server hosting is right for you
An unmanaged dedicated server gives you root or administrator access and full control: you install the software, apply updates and manage security, while we look after the hardware, the network and the power. It suits teams with their own system administrator.
A managed dedicated server adds our engineers to your team: operating system updates, monitoring, backup configuration, firewall rules and incident response are handled by IPHOST under the server management service, so you keep the performance of dedicated hardware without running it yourself.
Dedicated server vs VPS
A VPS shares a physical machine with other customers; a dedicated server is yours alone, so CPU, RAM and disk performance are predictable at any hour and there are no noisy neighbours.
