Carriers and interconnection
The facility is carrier-neutral. The following carriers and the MD-IX exchange have fibre in the building, and customers can contract any of them directly; the connection is made in the meet-me room. IPHOST charges no fee to carriers for entering the building.

Electrical Infrastructure
Redundant power supply is the foundation of any reliable datacenter. Our system ensures service continuity even in the event of total power grid outages.
- Fed from two building transformer substations on separate 10 kV lines, stepped down to 0.4 kV; switching between substations is manual
- Current incoming feed capacity: 300 kW
- Two independent power lines, A and B, each with its own UPS and generator; either line alone can carry the full data-centre load (2N)
- Line A: Vertiv 120 kW UPS + Kohler J250K 250 kVA generator
- Line B: Vertiv 40 kW UPS and 2 × Legrand Trimod 30 kW UPS + GETEQA 80 kVA generator (Perkins engine)
- UPS battery autonomy: at least 5 minutes at full load, 7–17 minutes at the current load; generators start automatically and take over the load in about 12 seconds
- In cold weather, engine pre-heaters keep the generators at 60 °C for a reliable start
- Fuel on site: generator tanks (300–400 l each) plus an 800 l reserve tank — over 24 hours of autonomy, refuelling without stopping the generators
- Weekly inspection, quarterly full-load test; continuous monitoring of oil temperature and fuel level, with remote monitoring over Ethernet/SNMP
Cooling Infrastructure
Maintaining optimal temperature is essential for equipment longevity and consistent performance. Our precision cooling system uses HOT AISLE technology for maximum efficiency.

The facility has two independent power lines, A and B, each with its own UPS and generator (Kohler 250 kVA and GETEQA 80 kVA). Batteries last 3–5 minutes, and the generators start automatically and take over the load in about 12 seconds. Fuel on site lasts over 24 hours. Either line alone can carry the current load (2N).
Moldtelecom, Arax, Orange, StarNet, ClickCom, RETN and Cogent have fibre (ODF) in the building, and so does the MD-IX internet exchange. You can connect to any of them directly with a cross-connect in the meet-me room ($56.03 setup, $16.81/month fibre or $5.60/month UTP). Over our own fibre in Chișinău (about 300 km) you can also reach other carriers, including KIVIX.
