.be domain registration requirements

• Name: 2 to 63 characters, letters a–z, digits and hyphens; it cannot start or end with a hyphen or have hyphens in both the third and fourth positions.
• Accented letters: names with the accented letters used in Dutch, French, German and several other European languages are accepted.
• Contact details: the registrant's name or company name, postal address, e-mail address and phone number, kept correct and up to date.
• Period: 1 year, renewed every year.

What happens when a .be domain expires?

Renew it before the expiry date from your client area; we send renewal reminders by e-mail. If a .be registration ends, DNS Belgium keeps the name in quarantine for 40 days before anyone else can register it, so contact us as soon as possible if you want to keep it.

Is a .be domain good for trust and SEO?
